We hunt several different locations on the Southern Oregon Coast for the so called "Pacific Ghost", the Columbia Blacktail.

These hunts are conducted in prime areas in Coos, Curry, Douglas, Josephine, and Jackson Counties. Our clients have harvested some beautiful B&C bucks on this hunt.

During rifle season we mainly use spot and stalk methods. Of all the Blacktail hunting techniques, this one is the ultimate Blacktail rush. We also use tree stands in prime bedding areas, and one man drives, to help our hunters locate that possible buck of a lifetime.

During archery season, which takes place in the heart of the rut, we often utilize rattling and calling to attract bucks. This can bring some quick results, but that's not always the case. The archery rut hunt is awesome. We have been rattling in some great bucks in the 130 -150 class. We also use tree stands, ground blinds and decoys.

Now that Columbia Whitetail deer have been removed from the federal endangered species list, a limited number of tags are available for hunting. We are very fortunate to have access to a few of them.

Columbia Whitetail deer have not been legally hunted in Oregon in more than 30 years! To take advantage of the new Columbia Whitetail season we have acquired prime hunting areas for these deer. Please call for availability on these tags.
