Oregon Black Bear and Bobcat Hunts With Hounds In Southern Oregon. Blacktail Deer And Roosevelt Elk Also Available

All of our Bobcat hunts are conducted from 4X4 vehicles or snowmobile. The hunting area and weather conditions determine which will be used on your hunt. These exciting hound hunts take place during the winter months, from December 1st to February 28th. An Oregon furtakers license is required along with Bobcat tags. There is nothing like listening to a well trained pack of hounds work a Bobcat track! Bobcats are plentiful in our hunting areas so we enjoy a highsuccess rate on these adrenaline filled hunts.

Secializing In Spot and Stalk Bear Hunts

Black bear are hunted using the "spot and stalk" method. Bears do very well in our hunting area due to the excellent food supply. We hunt the heavy timbered forests which provide an ideal sanctuary for the bears to grow to good size. We highly suggest the spring hunt since the bears will have a full coat of hair. We are starting to see a few color phased bears. Most of the black bears taken average around 6' with a few going to almost 7'. The spring hunt is a "controlled hunt drawing" but the chances of drawing a tag are 100%. The deadline for the drawing is usually around the first week of February.
